Features of ball mill
1.The ball mill generally grinds material 1/4 inch and finer, down to the particle size of 20 to 75 microns.
2.The longer the ball mill runs, the finer the powder will be.
3. The capacity is large, can meet cement, chemical industry need.
4. There are two ways for grinding: dry and wet.
5. The Scale board (ZGMN13, rubber) and medium (aluminum ball, steel ball and so on) can choose according to different raw material and usage.
Working Principle
Ball mill can be divided into lattice type and overflow type according to different discharging methods, and this machine is a two-lattice type ball mill. The materials from the feeding equipment enter evenly to the first bin of the millig machine via the feeding hollow axis when it works. There is a ladder-like or ripple-like scaleboard in the first bin and different specification steel balls are filled in the bin. When the cylinder rotates and produces centrifugal force, the force carries steel balls into a certain height and then makes them fall to strike and grind the materials. After coarse grinding in the first bin, the material then enters into the second bin via a single layer partition board. There is a scaleboard and steel balls in the second bin, so the materials are further ground. In the end, the powder is discharged by output material board.
Usage and Application
The ball mill is widely applied in mineral classification, cement, fireproof materials, glass, ceramic, chemical industry and so on. It can gind all kinds of rocks and grindable materials. There are two ways of grinding: the dry process and the wet process.
